In order to provide the services and features appropriate for the market and clients that we serve we have made certain policy choices.

  1. We do not offer any traditional form of password recovery. We do provide on the Configure page a means by which you can download, print, store, or otherwise preserve a recovery means. This means that noone, including you can hi-jack yor account because they have access you your eMail or other recovery means.
    The recovery code is provided as a QR code and a link which may be used to get to a recovery page where you can set a new password. You will be required to enter your phone number. This means that even if someone found your QR-code they could not access your account.

    If you are truly paranoid, you could even cut the QR code in half, keep one half and send the other to a trusted friend. Then to recover your account you would connect the two halves.

  2. To generate the recovery code, discussed above, you must enter your password. In this manner, even if you forget to sign off no one can generate the code and hi-jack your account.
  3. All password storage on our systems is hashed using a salted hash. In this manner even if somehow the passwords file was compromised it would not provide passwords.
  4. All communication between you and our servers uses a secure connection. You will see this in your browser location bar.
  5. We offer no facility to delete saved videos. They remain accessible for ten days.
  6. We collect no identifying information whatsoever other than the phone number that you use with the device from which you stream.
  7. We maintain very limited logs for minimal periods only as required to maintain the system.
  8. While we maintain actual videos for a relatively short period we do save an MD5 checksum of all videos for as long as you maintain your account. In this manner, if you, your attorney or some other party needs to 'prove' that they video they have is the video that was streamed, this may be proved.
  9. We do automatically sign you out from this web site after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  10. We provide no information whatsoever to any outside organization, including Police Agencies unless required by law.
  11. Since we have no identifying information about you it will be almost impossible for any information to be requested with a subpoena.
  12. We offer the option to disable GPS tracking if you are concerned about that aspect of your privacy. This is offered on the Configure menuu.
